Members of our staff are OSHA authorized trainers for the 10 and 30 hour Construction and General Industry courses, as well as recognized by OSHA as compliance training professionals in all aspects of OSHA standards. 40 Hour Hazwoper

The 40 Hour Hazwoper training course and refresher provides participants an opportunity to learn basic skills and knowledge about protecting the health and safety of personnel working with hazardous wastes and hazardous waste site work. Recognition and control of hazards at the site are presented through illustrated lectures and small group activities.

24 Hour Hazwoper

HAZWOPER 24 Hour is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. This course covers 24 hours of instruction, required by 29 CFR 1910.120(e) (3), OSHA’s Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response training standard.

This course is designed for workers on site only occasionally for a specific limited task and who are unlikely to be exposed over permissible exposure limits and published limits OR workers regularly on site who work in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized indicating that exposures are under permissible exposure limits and published exposure limits, where respirators are not necessary, there are no health hazards or the possibility of an emergency developing.

This is a three day class.

8 Hour Hazwoper

An 8 Hour HAZWOPER Training Class is required for individuals who are likely to discover or witness a hazardous substance release and who will be responsible for notifying personal for an emergency response action. Students will have a basic understanding of what hazardous materials are, how they can be identified and what to do if they are the first on the scene of a hazardous materials incident.

 

Hazardous Communication Training

The Hazardous Communication Training Program is designed to instruct students on the presence of hazardous chemicals and to communicated to employees in a variety of ways, including; hazardous chemical inventory, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)/ Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labels, tags or sign, the written hazardous communication program, and the NEW Globally Harmonization System with the new changes that have been put into effect.

10 Hour OSHA Classes

10 Hour OSHA Construction Training

The 10 Hour Construction Industry training program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker’s general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. The training includes several topics valuable to construction-related work such as Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Scaffolding, OSHA Inspection Procedures and more. This course is 2 day class. Whether you need training to meet employer or CEU requirements, this course will teach you important OSHA construction standards to keep you and your company in compliance.

10 Hour OSHA General Industry Training

The 10 Hour General Industry training program is intended to provide an entry level general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction job site. The training includes several topics valuable to construction-related work such as Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Scaffolding, OSHA Inspection Procedures and more. 30 Hour OSHA Classes

30 Hour OSHA Construction Training

The 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Program is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. OSHA recommends Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. This course is perfect for supervisors, safety personnel, or any worker that wants to obtain more knowledge of the OSHA standards and regulations.

10 Hour OSHA General Industry Training

The 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Program is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the general industry. OSHA recommends Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. This course is perfect for supervisors, safety personnel, or any worker that wants to obtain more knowledge of the OSHA standards and regulations.

Confined Space Rescue Training

Confined Space Rescue Training starts off with OSHA 1910.146 and NFPA 1670 and 1006 requirements for Confined Space Rescue Operations and NFPA 1006 Technical Rescuer Level I.  Topics covered includes, types of confined spaces, hazard recognition and control, atmospheric monitoring, personal protective equipment, rescue equipment and rigging techniques, attendant and entrant procedures, patient packaging, communications, SCBA/SABA management, confined space manipulation skills, rescue entry, patient removal and post rescue considerations.  Students will be trained to the Rescue Entrant and Rescue Attendant level.  Non-entry and entry type rescues will be practiced, including limited access spaces.

Forklift Training

 The Forklift Safety Training course covers safety requirements relating to the design, maintenance, and safe use of forklift trucks. It is designed to help student learn to evaluate the workplace and determine if loads can be safely moved.

First Aid / CPR / AED

Our Red Cross First Aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator) instructor provides training and certification that will meet the needs of your workplace responders, professional rescuers school staffs, professional responders and healthcare providers, as well as the general public. The First Aid/CPR/AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Lead Awareness

With Lead Awareness Training, the student will become familiar with lead sources, occurrences and the uses of lead. The students will learn the dangers of lead exposure, the effects of lead in our environment and the options available for the prevention of lead exposures.

SCBA Training

This SCBA Training Course will provide attendees with a comprehensive look at all of the elements needed to build confidence in the use and care of the SCBA.

Bloodborne Pathogens

This Bloodborne Pathogens course addresses the federal OSHA “Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens” standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) which prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood and OPIM (other potentially infectious materials) and to reduce their risk from this exposure.

Lockout / Tagout Training

A complete lockout training courses for all employees who are involved in lockout/tag out activities, including Authorized and Affected Employees, as well as Safety Leaders including; interactive assessment and learning checks, job aids and real-life case studies.

Scaffolding Competent Person and Awareness Training

Competent Person/Scaffolding Safety Training will cover the planning of a scaffold, preparing the job site, general guidelines for all scaffolding and fall protection guidelines. The class has an overview of the types of scaffolds, components, applications, erection, proper techniques, dismantling procedures and proper inspection techniques.

Fire Extinguisher Training

This Fire Extinguisher/ Fire Watch Training course is designed to teach employees to identify the different classes of fires and to know what to do in case of a fire. The safety precautions needed to prepare an area for hot work. The role and responsibilities of a fire watcher and the responsibilities of other individuals involved in hot work. Discuss emergency procedures that need to be in place for hot work. This class includes hands-on use of an extinguisher in fighting a small fire.
